About the role
Interactive Multi-Purpose Cooperative is seeking a skilled and dedicated Electrical Technician to join our engineering team on a full-time basis. Based in Pililla, Rizal, this role is central to maintaining and supporting our electrical systems and infrastructure.As an Electrical Technician, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of our electrical equipment and installations. This position offers the opportunity to work with modern electrical systems whilst contributing directly to the success of our cooperative's operations.
Key responsibilities- Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems, equipment and components to ensure optimal functionality and safety compliance
- Conducting routine inspections and diagnostics of electrical installations to identify potential faults or areas requiring maintenance
- Troubleshooting electrical problems using appropriate testing equipment and following established safety protocols
- Performing preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimise downtime and extend equipment lifespan
- Installing new electrical wiring, fixtures and equipment according to technical specifications and building codes
- Assisting in the design and implementation of electrical upgrades and improvements to existing systems
- Maintaining detailed records of maintenance activities, repairs and equipment performance
- Adhering strictly to health and safety regulations and best practices in all electrical work
- Supporting other team members and collaborating with departments to resolve electrical issues efficiently
- A recognised qualification or certification in electrical engineering, electrical installation or a related technical field
- Proven experience working as an Electrical Technician or in a similar electrical maintenance role within the engineering sector
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, circuitry, wiring and power distribution
- Competency in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers and power quality analysers
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues
- A thorough understanding of electrical safety regulations and building codes
- Physical fitness and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces when required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate records
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
- A valid driver's licence would be advantageous for travelling to different work locations
