Job description:

As Accounting Associate your responsibility is to support our accounting department. The ideal candidate will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and ensuring accuracy in financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update the company’s general ledger accounts.
  • Prepare and post journal entries for daily and monthly transactions.
  • Perform account reconciliations including bank, balance sheet, and intercompany accounts.
  • Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
  • Prepare supporting schedules for financial reports.
  • Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
  • Support internal and external audits.
  • Analyze discrepancies and resolve accounting issues.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of accounting or finance experience preferred .
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software such as QuickBooks or Xero.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
