FULL TIME | OFFICE SET-UP: ACCOUNTING STAFFAssociate - Intermediate Level
We are seeking an in-house Accounting Staff member who will manage and oversee all accounting operations within the company, including receipts, disbursements, and financial records. The individual will work closely with the Administrator to manage cash flows, budget allocations, and expenses related to departmental projects, company initiatives, and events.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (or related field).
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience in accounting.
- Proficient in bookkeeping, payroll processing, handling government benefits, and other related accounting tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and thrive under pressure.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with school policies and regulations.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process invoices, payments and receipts; reconcile accounts; and follow up on outstanding balances.
- Government Remittances: Prepare and process remittances for PAG-IBIG, PhilHealth, SSS, ensuring compliance with deadlines and regulations.
- Tax Filings: Prepare CV and checks and submit necessary tax documents filings, ensuring compliance with local tax regulations.
- Payroll: Payroll processing, ensuring timely and accurate employee payments.
- Budget Assistance: Help in the preparation of the school's budget, monitor expenditures, and provide variance analysis.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulation, policies, and procedures.
- Communication: Liaise with staff and parents regarding financial inquiries and transactions.
- Other Duties: Perform other accounting-related tasks assigned by the management.
