Accounting Associate - Accounts Receivable

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure accuracy, completeness, and consistency of collections recorded across all sources
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and analyze reconciling items
- Identify, investigate, and resolve discrepancies, unapplied, or unidentified collections
- Support revenue recognition, ensuring collections are properly aligned with revenue records
- Prepare reconciled collection and monitoring reports
- Handle VAT and CWT computation and monitoring related to collections
- Prepare adjusting and journal entries based on reconciled balances
- Support month-end closing, audit requirements, and BIR compliance
- Coordinate with internal teams for discrepancies, data validation and issue resolution
- Graduate of any business-related course (Accounting is an advantage)
- At least 1–2 years experience in AR, reconciliation, or bookkeeping
- Strong understanding of:
- Bank reconciliation
- Basic accounting entries (debit/credit)
- Data validation and reconciliation processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel (sorting, filtering, basic formulas)
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and reconciliation skills
- Able to handle high-volume data validation with accuracy
- Willing to work in Cebu City.
