Job Summary
The Regional Sales Manager – South Luzon will be responsible for leading and driving merchant acquisition and activation in the South Luzon area. This role will initially be an individual contributor but eventually will manage field sales teams, implement regional strategies, and ensure performance targets are met through strong sales execution, merchant relationship-building, and team coaching.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement regional sales strategies tailored to the South Luzon market
- Lead and manage a team of Sales Executives/merchant acquirers to meet acquisition and activation targets
- Identify growth opportunities and key merchant segments in the assigned region
- Build and nurture relationships with merchants, local associations, and potential channel partners
- Conduct regular sales field visits, trainings, and performance reviews
- Monitor pipeline health and drive high-quality merchant onboarding
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Support teams to ensure smooth merchant activation
- Provide timely and actionable sales reports and market feedback to management
- Ensure alignment with company values, regulatory guidelines, and ethical standards
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or any related field
- Minimum of 5 years experience in sales, preferably in fintech, payments, banking
- At least 1 year in a leadership or territory management role
- Strong knowledge of the South Luzon landscape
- Proven track record in meeting sales quotas and building high-performing teams
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Highly driven, resourceful, and field-oriented
