Fowls, hogs, livestock and other kinds of animals and foodstuffs and other activities allied or incidental thereto such as but not limited to animal feeds, nutrition, and healthcare.

Job description and minimum qualifications:

QUALITY CONTROL INSPECTOR – Davao Del Sur

Qualifications:

  • Educational Background: Graduate of any 4 – 5 years course in Engineering is advantage but not required, Business Management, or a related field.
  • Work Experience: Have at least 2 years’ relative experience in a food industry.

Skills and Knowledge:

  • Knowledge in Quality and Food Safety Management System, GMP, SSOP, HACCP, Corporate Environmental, Safety and Health Policy and Preventive Maintenance.
  • Excellent knowledge of standard poultry processing production, food safety, SAP controls, inventory and variance managements.
  • Good Communication skills both oral and written.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Job Description:

A QC Inspector is responsible for ensuring that products meet established quality standards before they are released to customers. They inspect, test, and evaluate materials, components, or finished products to identify defects or deviations from specifications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensures the Customer Product Standards and Specifications are strictly implemented in the operation.
  • Accomplishes the Basic/ Further/ Blast and Warehouse Operation’s Pre-Ops ,In-process and Post Operations Daily Monitoring Forms needed for Production and makes corrective action for any deviations identified such as but not limited to:
  • Room Temperature (such as Lairage, Processing Rooms)
  • Product Internal Temperature
  • Chlorine concentration
  • Foreign object
  • Ensures that Good Manufacturing Practices, Sanitation Standard Operating Procedure and Quality and Food Safety System are implemented throughout the operation.
  • Ensure orderliness, cleanliness and sanitation of Production facilities and its auxiliary facilities such Waste Water Treatment and Rendering Plants.
  • Demonstrates a high concern for the health and safety of self and others.
  • Demonstrates commitment to Company Rules and Regulations
  • Performs other related duties as may be assigned either in support of company goal or for his/her personal or professional training, education or development as programmed by his/her immediate superior.
