About the role
New Flavor House, Inc. is seeking a talented Research and Development Officer to join our dynamic team in Guiguinto Bulacan. In this full-time role, you will play a crucial part in driving innovation and developing exciting new food products that delight our customers.
What you'll be doing- Conduct extensive research and development to create innovative flavors and food products
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ideate, prototype and refine new product concepts
- Perform rigorous sensory evaluation and testing to ensure products meet quality and safety standards
- Stay abreast of industry trends, consumer preferences and regulatory changes to identify opportunities for new product development
- Analyse market data, consumer insights and competitor offerings to guide the R&D pipeline
- Document and present research findings, test results and recommendations to key stakeholders
- Support the scale-up and commercialisation of new products
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related scientific field
- 5+ years' experience in a research and development role within the food manufacturing industry
- Strong background in food product development, formulation, and sensory evaluation
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
- Creativity and innovative thinking to develop unique and appealing food products
- Strong project management skills and the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Up-to-date knowledge of food safety regulations, industry trends and best practices
