What is the job?

The Customer Support Specialist is responsible in providing exceptional service to both internal and external customers of the bank. This role involves handling incoming calls and emails, assisting customers with various banking needs, resolving issues, providing account information, and performing administrative tasks related to accounts and customer requests.

Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming emails and calls professionally, assisting with general banking needs and following up as needed.
  • Provide accurate account information, resolve customer issues, and escalate concerns when necessary.
  • Offer information on bank products, services, locations, hours, and fees.
  • Process customer requests such as address updates, duplicate statements, stop payments, and card services.
  • Promote bank offerings by referring inquiries to appropriate business units for account openings.
  • Maintain alignment with company values and perform all other assigned duties as needed.

Qualifications:

  • 3–4 years of customer service experience with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in understanding and applying loan policies, banking procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Builds strong customer relationships through active listening, empathy, and professional interactions.
  • Highly detail-oriented with strong multitasking abilities and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
  • Demonstrates sound judgment, problem-solving skills, and the ability to make informed decisions.
  • Self-motivated and committed to delivering high-quality service with integrity and professionalism.
