Accounts Payable Assistant

Is currently looking for:

ACCOUNTS PAYABLE ASSISTANT

Responsibilities:

• Check and verify supplier invoices/billings against purchase order, receiving report, contracts, etc. and prior to processing of voucher for payment.
• Check and verify CF/RIF against commission and incentive request. Any discrepancies/errors should be reported immediately to the concerned department.
• Identify and monitor all vendor/supplier discount opportunities. If any, as well as brokers/agents commission released.
• Check vouchers preparations.
• Proper filing of check voucher in their respective areas or designation.
• Perform monthly aging of payables report.
• Assist in the resolution of vendor/supplier complaints in relation to their account balance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking and other related or suitable courses.
• At least 1 yr of working experience in the related field, fresh graduates are entertained.
• Computer literate; workable knowledge in MS applications.
• Knowledgeable in accounting systems and can develop and implement procedures and features to enhance work flow and maintain a high level of accuracy of the department.
• Independent, flexible, detail-oriented and can work with very minimal supervision.
