Job Detail:

We are seeking a Contract Administrator to support project delivery through contract and commercial administration, including job creation, payment processing, variation and EOT coordination, and risk management. This role works closely with the Project Manager and stakeholders to ensure contracts are administered accurately, risks are tracked, and reporting is maintained across all project phases.

Job Responsibilities:

Contract & Commercial Administration
  • Provide contract and commercial administrative support across projects
  • Ensure job creation, processing, and payments to construction and supplier partners are completed accurately
  • Support the Project Manager with changes to insurances and contract security instruments
  • Assist in the preparation and administration of contract agreements
Variation, EOT & Claims Management
  • Coordinate and report on project variations
  • Manage Extension of Time (EOT) coordination, tracking, and reporting
  • Handle claim or dispute registration and coordination
Reporting & Documentation
  • Prepare and deliver regular and ad-hoc reports
  • Maintain and update associated information databases
  • Ensure all business processes and documentation are consistently maintained
Risk Administration
  • Support the Project Manager in administering the risk management plan
  • Maintain and update the risk register
  • Track and report on risk progress and implementation of mitigation actions
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
  • Maintain a professional, collaborative, and constructive approach in all interactions
  • Encourage participation and collaboration across teams
  • Actively participate in meetings and workshops
  • Promote company mission and values in daily activities

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Construction Management, Engineering, Accounting, or Quantity Surveying
  • Proven administrative experience supporting large project teams within complex organizations
  • Experience in construction, particularly within commercial and/or legal functions on major projects
  • Experience in preparing and managing contract agreements
  • Strong understanding of project management and project control principles
  • Knowledge of risk management processes and application
  • Strong commercial acumen, including interpreting contract terms and relevant legislation
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to various stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to balance operational and strategic priorities
  • Effective time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines
  • High level of confidentiality, professionalism, and integrity
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders
