About the role
We are seeking a Safety Engineer to join our team at Shandong Electric Power Engineering Consulting Institute Corp., Ltd./ SDEPCI Philippine Branch in Nasipit Agusan del Norte. This is a full-time position where you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees and project sites.
What you'll be doing- Developing and implementing comprehensive safety policies, procedures, and programs
- Conducting regular safety inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential hazards
- Providing training and education to employees on safety best practices
- Investigating and reporting on incidents to determine root causes and prevent future occurrences
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with all relevant safety regulations and industry standards
- Continuously improving safety performance and promoting a culture of safety awareness
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Safety Engineer in the engineering industry
- Strong understanding of occupational health and safety regulations and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders
- Proven track record of implementing effective safety programs and initiatives
