Chief Engineer

Ensures that all mechanical, electrical, and technical systems function reliably.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, coordinate, and supervise all engineering and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding building codes, safety standards, and environmental laws.
• Develop and implement preventive and predictive maintenance programs to minimize downtime.
• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of mechanical, electrical and other technical systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify and address potential equipment failures or hazards.
• Collaborate with other departments to support operational goals and resolve technical issues.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance schedules, equipment manuals, and compliance documentation.
• Participate in planning and execution of projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Electrical, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Minimum of [5–10] years of progressive energy related experience, with at least [3] years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of building systems, industrial equipment, and safety regulations.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with maintenance management software (CMMS) is an advantage.
• Able to understand and review electrical & civil engineering drawings.
