SAP Project Manager (FMCG)

The role requires a highly experienced ERP transformation leader with proven expertise in complex, multi-site SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementations, capable of driving execution discipline, managing SI partners, and ensuring alignment across business units, functional teams, and executive stakeholders.

1. Program Planning & Execution

• Lead the integrated master project plan across all SAP S/4HANA implementation phases including Preparation, Design, Build, Testing, Deployment, and Stabilization
• Coordinate cross-functional workstreams across Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, Logistics, Manufacturing, Sales, and Asset Management
• Drive execution discipline through regular project reviews, milestone tracking, and corrective action management
• Manage Go/No-Go readiness assessments, cutover planning, deployment activities, and post-go-live hypercare support

1. Governance & Stakeholder Management

• Facilitate governance forums including SteerCo, project reviews, vendor meetings, and executive updates
• Prepare concise and actionable program status reports, risk updates, and decision papers for senior leadership
• Maintain a single source of truth for program reporting, risks, issues, and dependencies
• Partner with business leaders, GPOs, SI partners, and advisory teams to ensure alignment and timely decision-making

1. RAID & Risk Management

• Own and maintain the program RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies)
• Identify, escalate, and drive resolution of critical program risks and issues
• Ensure mitigation plans, contingency actions, and accountability tracking are consistently enforced

1. Vendor & Resource Management

• Manage System Integrator (SI) partners and external vendors against contractual deliverables, milestones, and quality standards
• Monitor project resource capacity, onboarding, and utilization across internal teams and partner organizations
• Coordinate change requests, budget impacts, and delivery adjustments in alignment with program governance

1. Budget & Financial Oversight

• Track program budget versus actuals across implementation, infrastructure, and change management activities
• Provide budget forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting to program leadership and executives
• Ensure proper audit trail and governance for approvals, budget changes, and project expenditures

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
• 12+ years of project or program management experience, including at least 5 years leading ERP transformation programs
• Minimum of 3 completed full-cycle SAP S/4HANA greenfield implementations as Program Manager or Senior Project Manager
• Strong experience managing large-scale, multi-workstream ERP programs across Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Procurement, and Logistics
• Proven experience managing System Integrator (SI) vendors and enforcing delivery accountability
• Hands-on knowledge of SAP Activate methodology and SAP S/4HANA governance structures
• Strong expertise in RAID management, integrated project planning, cutover execution, and hypercare management
• Experience facilitating executive governance meetings including SteerCo and ExCom sessions
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills
• PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, or equivalent project management certification
