Supervision and Leadership
- Lead and mentor a team of accountants to ensure high performance and professional development.
- Assign and review tasks to ensure the timely completion of the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Monitor and report on key financial metrics and variances to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations and financial reporting standards.
- Coordinate and assist with internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and support.
- Oversee the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Review and approve invoices, payments, and customer collections.
- Monitor cash flow, manage bank reconciliations, and ensure adequate cash reserves for operational needs.
- Develop and maintain cash forecasting models.
- Assist in the development of annual budgets and long-term financial forecasts.
- Track performance against the budget and identify areas for improvement.
- Identify opportunities for improving accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Participate in the implementation of new accounting software or upgrades.
