Job Summary
The Office Engineer (Mechanical) supports the design, estimation, and project coordination of refrigeration and cold storage systems. The role focuses on HVAC and industrial refrigeration works, including preparation of cost estimates, material take-offs, and technical documentation for cold storage facilities, chillers, and related systems.This position is open to fresh graduates who are willing to learn and develop their skills in refrigeration engineering and cold chain projects.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare cost estimates and material take-offs for cold storage and refrigeration projects
- Assist in design coordination of refrigeration systems and cold rooms.
- Support preparation of technical drawings, reports, and project documentation
- Coordinate with site engineers and project teams for installation and project updates
- Assist in monitoring project progress, equipment, and material requirements
- Use AutoCAD or SketchUp for technical drafting when needed
- Perform other duties assigned by the project engineer or management
- Graduate of Mechanical Engineering
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Preferably male applicant due to site coordination and field exposure requirements
- Knowledge in AutoCAD is an advantage
- Interest or basic understanding in HVAC, refrigeration systems, or cold storage is a plus
- Willing to learn and be trained in industrial refrigeration systems
- Strong analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Can work in a fast-paced project environment
- Familiarity with cold storage, walk-in chillers, and freezers
- Exposure to refrigeration or HVAC systems (internship/OJT experience is a plus)
- Basic knowledge in cost estimation and project costing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and technical reporting
- Office-based with site coordination for cold storage projects
- Exposure to industrial refrigeration installation and commissioning
- Training and technical growth opportunities in refrigeration engineering
