Chief Accountant

Our group of companies is looking for a CHIEF ACCOUNTANT!

Job Description:

Reviews the financial statements to ensure accuracy and report results of business operations, condition and cash flow to the Management regularly.

Responsibilities:

1. Prepares and files with BIR, all tax returns including quarterly reports and ensures that company taxes are paid in a timely manner.
2. Files with SEC and other corporate entities all required documents.
3. Performs reconciliations of general ledger accounts.
4. Manage month-end and year-end closing including preparing journal entries, reconciliations and supporting schedules.
5. Ensure the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of financial data. Plays a critical role in the preparation of supporting documents and analysis for the annual external auditing.
6. Ensure accounting procedures are done in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles.

Qualifications:

1. Graduate of Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy
2. Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
3. Must have at least 2-3 years experience in General Accounting/Audit
4. With the ability to review business and operation’s processes and recommend effective controls
5. Able to lead the Accounting team to meet its goal and objectives.
