Internal Job Title: Business Unit Sales Coordinator
Job Summary:As a Business Unit Sales Coordinator, you will play a critical role in supporting the sales operations of our business unit. You will work closely with the Business Development Manager, Business Unit Leader, and Bid Manager to develop winning proposals, drive sales success, and provide exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Attraction:
- Assist in preparing materials for client events, meetings, and presentations.
- Conduct research on prospective clients to create comprehensive information packs.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager, Business Unit Leader, and Bid Manager to attend client and industry events.
- RFI and RFP Process:
- Complete RFI questionnaires and keep the Business Development Manager updated on progress.
- Collaborate with the Business Development Manager, supported by the Bid Manager, to manage the proposal process from start to finish.
- Tasks include creating kick-off decks, responsibility matrices, and structuring responses.
- Knowledge and Process:
- Maintain and update professional profiles, account profiles, and case studies for the Business Unit knowledge library.
- Stay informed with industry knowledge and innovations, sharing insights with the team to enhance bid responses.
- Business Unit Support:
- Provide general administrative support to the Business Unit Leader and team.
- Prepare and issue reports for stakeholders, organize team meetings, and manage the Business Unit Leader’s schedule.
- Collaborate with site-based staff and clients, and develop systems to improve Business Unit efficiency.
Requirements:
- Degree holder or equivalent professional standard, including English and Maths qualifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Analytical and financial acumen, with an understanding of financial terms and the ability to perform intermediate calculations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Word and PowerPoint. Familiarity with SharePoint, InDesign, SmartSheet, and Salesforce is beneficial.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a creative mindset; proactive, organised, and able to multitask under pressure.
