Quezon City - Logistics Supervisor

Logistics Supervisor - Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of the logistic team to ensure efficient, accurate, and timely delivery of goods. This includes supervising distribution activities in alignment with company objective and customer requirements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Supervise logistics in a 24/7 operations including receiving, dispatching, and delivery of goods.

Manage a team of logistics staff including drivers, delivery helpers to ensure efficient, accurate and timely delivery of goods base on schedule.

Maintain accurate records of shipments and logistics transactions

Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations in terms of registration, safety and quality control standards in all logistics operations.

Analyze logistics performance data to identify areas for improvement.

Support cost reduction initiatives without compromising service quality.

Monitor delivery routes, schedules and fuel/vehicle usage for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Ensure trucks and service units are in good running condition at all times.

Other tasks that may be assigned from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

With 3-5 years of experience as supervisor in logistics or supply chain in one company.

Hands on in managing round-the-clock (24/7) logistics operations, overseeing in a diverse fleet consisting of trucks, forwarders, ELF (Light Trucks) and trailers.

Handle and supervise at least 10 team members of drivers and delivery helper is an advantage.

Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem solving skills.

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Familiar in safety government regulations and quality control standards in logistics operations.
