Work Knowledge:

• Knowledge in AutoCAD operation.
• Draw detailed plans and diagrams for the spillway based on preliminary sketches and design specifications.
• Knowledge in estimates and quality assurance and control for structural works.
• Check and revise drawings to ensure accuracy.
• Work with design and drafting software to create virtual models.
• Excellent spatial visualization.

• Assists the Spillway Project and creates technical drawings and plans that accurately represent the design of a physical structure.
• Ensures that Spillway Project engineering activities comply with and are in accordance with the relevant specification, standards, and operating procedures.
• Responsible for preparing detailed drawings of structural designs and plans for spillway, using computer-aided design (CAD) software.
• Must be able to interpret and understand engineering plans and specifications and have knowledge of building materials, engineering practices, and construction methods.
• Create preliminary design sketches and engineering drawings for conceptual analysis.
• Create design specifications, documentation, and a material list.
• Review, analyze, and interpret CAD drawings accurately to specifications, codes, and other regulations.
• Assist the Survey team in ensuring correct design elevations as per drawings.
• Provide complete documentation packages for engineers.
• Review the quality of all materials at the site, ensure compliance with all project specifications and quality, and collaborate with the department for all material procurement and quality materials.
• Conduct queries to material sources/suppliers, ensuring quality and quantity is of economic value to the project.
• Conduct an on-site inventory of spillway materials to determine current quantities and support timely re-ordering of supplies.
• Assist in the preparation and completion of Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), including securing necessary closeout signatures and organizing relevant attachments.
• Support the preparation of documentation related to regulatory compliance requirements.
• Acquire and apply knowledge from designers’ TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS/RFI's/NCR's to help address and resolve site-based technical queries effectively.
