Cybersecurity Officer

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and enforce cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration testing.
- Ensure compliance with Data Privacy Act (RA 10173), Cybercrime Prevention Act (RA 10175), and global frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
- Monitor and respond to security alerts from SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, and endpoint protection systems.
- Lead incident response activities — detection, containment, recovery, and post-incident reporting.
- Oversee patch management, system hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
- Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams to embed security in CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Manage IAM, MFA, and privileged account security.
- Conduct security awareness training and phishing simulations for employees.
- Report on cybersecurity posture, risks, and incidents to senior management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Information Security, Computer Science, or IT-related field (Master’s or certifications preferred).
- 3–5+ years of hands-on experience in cybersecurity, information security, or related roles.
- Experience in vulnerability remediation, DevOps, and systems administration (Windows/Linux).
- Strong knowledge of firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM tools, and endpoint protection.
- Familiarity with cloud security (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- In-depth understanding of Philippine Cybersecurity and Data Privacy laws.
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM, CEH, CompTIA Security+, CISA, CCSP.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and incident management skills.
- Ethical, proactive, and committed to continuous improvement.
