IBM MQ Systems Administrator
About the role
This is a full-time position for an IBM MQ Systems Administrator at NYGC Services, Inc.' located in Manila City Metro Manila. As the IBM MQ Systems Administrator, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the company's IBM MQ messaging infrastructure, ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of critical business applications.
What you'll be doing- Install, configure, and maintain IBM MQ servers and clients across the organization
- Proactively monitor IBM MQ environments, identify and resolve issues, and implement preventative measures
- Manage IBM MQ queue managers, channels, queues, and other related components
- Perform regular backups, disaster recovery planning, and testing to ensure business continuity
- Implement security measures and access controls to protect the integrity of the IBM MQ infrastructure
- Analyze performance metrics, troubleshoot problems, and optimize system performance
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless integration of IBM MQ with other systems
- Provide support, training, and guidance to users on IBM MQ-related issues
- Participate in project planning, implementation, and documentation activities
