Job Overview

The Systems Administrator will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems across the organization. This position focuses on assessing, upgrading, and integrating systems from newly acquired companies into the existing infrastructure, while maintaining optimal performance and minimizing operational disruptions.

Work set up: Onsite @ San Juan, Metro Manila PH

Schedule: Shifting Schedule

Responsibilities and Duties
  • Review and Assess: Conduct thorough assessments of the current technologies and
systems of newly acquired companies.
  • Design and Plan: Develop comprehensive plans for system upgrades and integration
to ensure compatibility with the company’s existing infrastructure.
  • Implement: Execute the design and perform system upgrades, including hardware and
software installations, configurations, and migrations.
  • Monitor and Maintain: Continuously monitor system performance and implement
necessary updates and patches to maintain optimal performance and security.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system configurations,
processes, and changes.
  • Collaborate: Work closely with other IT team members, stakeholders, and vendors to
ensure seamless integration and minimal disruption to operations.
  • Troubleshoot: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to system
upgrades and integrations.
  • Train: Provide training and support to IT staff and end-users on new systems and

technologies

Required Knowledge and Skills
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a
related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration, with a focus
on system upgrades and integrations.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in various operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.),
network architecture, virtualization technologies, and cloud services.
  • Migration Tools: Familiarity with migration tools such as BitTitan, Quest Migration
Manager, CodeTwo Migration Tool, and other similar platforms used for email, data,
and system migrations.
  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as MCSE, CCNA, or Azure certifications
are preferred.
  • Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to
explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Team Player: Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with
cross-functional teams.
  • After-Hours Work: Be available to perform critical tasks outside of regular business
hours to ensure minimal disruption to operations.
  • Weekend Work: Occasionally work on weekends to support major migrations,

updates, or urgent issues.
