INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
  • Review "negative on-hand" report daily.
  • Review inventory audit report or inventory adjustments report.
  • Plan and conduct cycle count and annual physical inventory.
  • Conduct random audit of receiving process, door audit process and overstock freezer & chiller.
  • Ensure receiving of high valued items is properly witnessed and break pack items are properly audited.
  • Review and monitor over short, and damaged (OSD) items.
  • Establish inventory control procedures to monitor stock levels, track movements, and reduce discrepancies.
  • Forecast inventory requirements and maintain optimal stock levels by generating reports that assist the merchandising team in sustaining stock availability.
  • Utilize data analytics and key performance indicators (KPI) to monitor performance and drive operational excellence.
ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT
  • Ascertain that supplies are kept at minimum while maximizing their usage.
  • Monitor supplies consumption of the department.
  • Handle concerns and issues escalated by frontliners.
  • Ensure compliance to fixed asset monitoring system.
  • Ensure that the proper scheduling of work hours is prepared and followed properly.
MAINTENANCE AND COMPLIANCE MANAGEMENT
  • Ensure maintenance and functionality of all IT equipment & tools (hardware, software, POS and server).
  • Ensure proper downloading and uploading of files or data from one system to the other to make sure smooth flow of operation.
  • Review price set up and check price changes if updated on time and properly implemented.
  • Ensure that all government required documents, permits and licenses are complete and properly displayed and maintained.
OTHERS
  • Develops course of action to improve efficiency of the back-office personnel.
  • Make sound and prompt decisions and ability to take responsibility for the actions undertaken.
  • Perform other tasks that may be assigned sometimes.
  • Maintaining Inventory Accuracy: Ensuring that inventory records accurately reflect actual stock levels amidst frequent stock movements, which requires meticulous attention to detail and effective tracking systems.
  • Balancing Stock Levels: Managing the delicate balance between overstocking and stockouts, optimizing inventory levels to meet demand without incurring excessive holding costs or risking shortages.
  • Handling Discrepancies: Identifying and resolving discrepancies between physical inventory and recorded data, which often involves investigating root causes and implementing corrective measures.
  • Forecasting Demand: Predicting future inventory needs based on historical data, market trends, and seasonal variations, which requires sophisticated forecasting techniques and an understanding of demand patterns.
  • Coordinating Across Departments: Collaborating with procurement, sales, and logistics teams to ensure seamless inventory flow and address any issues that may impact stock levels or availability.
  • Implementing Effective Controls: Establishing and enforcing robust inventory control procedures to minimize errors, theft, and obsolescence, while ensuring compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Data Management: Utilizing data analytics to monitor inventory performance, generate reports, and drive decision-making, which involves managing and analyzing large volumes of data accurately and efficiently.
