Assistant Commercial/Sales Manager (CEBU)
Cebu2World Development Inc., a subsidiary of Megawide Corporation, is looking for a driven, analytical, and business minded Assistant Commercial Manager to support the leasing, tenant acquisition, and commercial growth of Carbon Market.
As Cebu’s oldest public market enters a new chapter, Carbon is being transformed into a more vibrant hub for food, culture, tourism, and commerce while preserving its heritage and supporting the livelihoods built within it for generations.
Reporting to the Commercial Manager, this role will support the strategic and day-to-day commercial operations of the property, with focus on tenant acquisition, leasing performance, stakeholder engagement, and revenue-generating initiatives.This is ideal for someone with a strong sales background, particularly in closing challenging deals, securing key tenants, and activating hard-to-lease spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support leasing strategies to strengthen tenant mix, improve occupancy, and attract target customers.
- Identify and pursue potential tenants, merchants, and commercial partners aligned with zoning plans and business objectives.
- Assist in evaluating leasable spaces for utilization, improvement, or redevelopment opportunities.
- Analyze market trends, customer demand, tenant performance, and commercial data to support leasing decisions and maximize yield.
- Support vendor, merchant, and stakeholder engagement initiatives to strengthen commercial relationships and market activity.
- Assist in driving revenue growth initiatives, destination activations, and new commercial concepts within Carbon Market.
- Provide day-to-day support to the Commercial Manager in coordinating priorities, deliverables, and cross-functional requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Real Estate Management, Finance, or a related field.
- At least four (4) years of relevant experience in commercial leasing, sales, real estate, or related roles.
- Strong background in sales, tenant acquisition, and closing deals, preferably for hard-to-sell products, services, or spaces.
- Experience handling or negotiating with commercial tenants, merchants, bazaars, or retail partners is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Willing to work onsite at Carbon Market, Brgy. Ermita, Cebu City, Monday to Friday, 9AM – 6PM.
