- Exemplary sales skills and customer oriented approach
- Well versed in various areas of travel (domestic/international, business/holidays, group/individual etc.
- Ability to present, persuade and communicate effectively
- Demonstrable ability to handle crises
- Candidates with personal travel experience will be preferred
- Develop proficiency in speaking and writing in English. Fluency in other languages will give you an edge.
- Become adept in using basic Microsoft Office programs such as Word and Excel.
- Create expertise in domestic and international travel requirements. Personal travel experience is advantageous.
- Show sales skills such as persuasion, presentation, and communication.
- After gaining experience as a Travel Consultant, consider progressing to a role (if working for a travel agency) such as Branch Manager, Travel Director, or Operations Manager.
