- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent experience; CPA/CA candidate is a plus
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or related field
- Process-oriented with ability to follow established workflows
- Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; experience with Gusto, Bill, Ramp, or Xero is a plus
- Fundamental understanding of GAAP and strong numerical/data entry skills

Your Daily Tasks
Core Accounting Responsibilities- Monitor and manage accounting email inboxes for clients
- Enter financial data and maintain accurate records
- Process accounts receivable and payable transactions
- Handle payroll for multiple clients, ensuring compliance and accuracy
- Maintain subsidiary accounts and record financial transactions
- Organize and maintain historical accounting records
- Prepare and reconcile balance sheets, including cash and credit accounts
- Conduct and review reconciliations across accounts and ledgers
- Prepare and analyze financial statements for review
- Ensure compliance with documentation and retention policies
- Perform month-end close activities and journal entries
- Maintain compliance with GAAP and regulatory standards
