Warehouse Checker (Assistant Supervisor)

About the role

Maxiwood Construction Supply, Inc. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Checker to join our team in Tarlac City, Tarlac. In this role, you will be responsible for accurately checking and verifying the inventory of materials arriving at and departing from our warehouse, ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our supply chain.

• Thoroughly inspect and count incoming and outgoing shipments of construction materials, ensuring they match the accompanying documentation
• Identify and report any discrepancies, damages or irregularities to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Maintain detailed records of all inventory movements, including receipts, dispatches and stock levels
• Assist with the organisation and storage of materials within the warehouse, adhering to established safety and efficiency protocols
• Support the overall team in processing orders and preparing goods for delivery to our customers
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of warehouse operations and inventory management

• Atleast 1 year experience in a similar warehousing or inventory control role
• Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy, with the ability to work with speed and efficiency
• Excellent communication skills to liaise with colleagues and customers
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems and inventory control procedures
• A commitment to maintaining a safe and organised work environment
