The Business Analyst (BA) – Supports the Project Management Office (PMO) by translating business requirements into detailed technical and functional specifications for digital financial services. The BA plays a vital role in ensuring alignment between project goals, regulatory compliance, operational efficiency, and delivery timelines.
This position bridges strategic fintech initiatives with project execution under the supervision of the PM Head.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
A. PMO – Aligned Functions- Collaborate with the PM Head to prioritize, plan, and scope projects in alignment with PMO objectives.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting for PMO dashboards, trackers, and weekly progress reports.
- Support the PMO in project governance activities such as risk tracking, milestone validation, and issue escalation.
- Ensure adherence to PMO standards, templates, and change control processes.
- Assist in post-project evaluations to gather lessons learned and assess performance against KPIs.
- Support cross-functional collaboration to ensure a seamless experience across departments.
- Conduct end-to-end analysis of EMI and fintech services including digital wallets, virtual card issuance, API integrations, and compliance workflows.
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements in collaboration with business units and technical teams.
- Translate requirements into Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional
- Specification Documents (FSD), and user stories.
- Coordinate sprint planning, backlog grooming, and user story walkthroughs with developers and QA under PMO guidance.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), validate deliverables, and documentb signoffs.
- Work closely with Legal, Compliance, and Risk teams to ensure all solutions meet regulatory guidelines (e.g., BSP, AML/KYC).
Qualifications & Requirements:
Job Requirements:
- 3–5 years’ experience in a Business Analyst role within the EMI, digital banking, or fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of electronic money workflows, digital payments, fintech operations, and regulatory compliance (e.g., BSP Circulars).
- Familiar with project management frameworks and lifecycle (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and tools such as JIRA, Trello, or Confluence.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with PMO, product, engineering, compliance, and external partners.
- Strong documentation, communication, and analytical thinking skills.Knowledge of API documentation and partner integration is an advantage.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field.
