The Nutritionist-Dietitian is responsible for delivering evidence-based nutrition care with a primary focus on sports nutrition, performance enhancement, and wellness optimization. The role involves conducting nutrition assessments, developing personalized meal plans, supporting clients with specific dietary restrictions, and collaborating with coaches and healthcare professionals to ensure integrated client care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive nutrition assessments (dietary history, body composition, lifestyle evaluation)
- Develop individualized meal plans tailored to fitness goals, performance demands, and medical considerations
- Provide sports nutrition guidance for muscle gain, fat loss, endurance, recovery, and competition preparation
- Counsel clients with specific dietary restrictions and medical conditions requiring specialized nutrition management
- Monitor client progress and adjust nutrition plans accordingly
- Educate clients on macronutrient timing, supplementation basics, hydration strategies, and recovery nutrition
- Collaborate with coaches, therapists, and other health professionals to align nutrition strategies with training programs
- Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation
- Participate in case discussions and internal professional development initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ethical standards and professional regulations
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics or a related field
- Licensed Registered Nutritionist-Dietitian (RND)
- At least one (1) year of relevant experience, particularly in handling clients with specific dietary restrictions
- Experience in sports nutrition or working in a fitness/wellness setting is an advantage
