The Purchasing Assistant contributes to the company’s success by supporting the sourcing and procurement of goods and services. This role is responsible for coordinating delivery schedules, canvassing items, negotiating with suppliers, and ensuring that the organization receives high-quality products at competitive prices in a timely manner.

Working Knowledge / Core Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Familiarity with procurement and inventory management systems
  • Basic knowledge of procurement regulations and industry best practices

Qualifications and Experience:

The ideal candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration or any related field, with at least two (2) years of relevant work experience as a Purchasing Assistant, Purchasing Officer, or in a similar role.
