About the role
We are seeking a Strategic Sourcing (Food) Officer to join The Moment Group in Makati City, Metro Manila on a full-time basis. As a Strategic Sourcing (Food) Officer, you will play a key part in optimising our procurement processes and building strong, mutually beneficial relationships with our vendors to support the company's operational and financial objectives.
What you'll be doing- Conduct market research and analysis to identify cost-effective suppliers and negotiate favourable contract terms
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define and prioritise sourcing needs and strategies
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimise costs, quality, delivery and supply chain performance
- Manage vendor relationships, performance and compliance to support continuous improvement
- Identify and capitalise on procurement-related risks and opportunities
- Document and report on sourcing activities, savings and process improvements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a strategic sourcing, procurement or supply chain role, preferably in the manufacturing, transport or logistics industries
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and drive fact-based decisions
- With extensive experience in food items
- Proven experience in F&B is highly preferred
- Excellent negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills
- Understanding of procurement best practices, including sourcing methodologies, supplier relationship management and contract management
- Proficiency in using procurement and supply chain software and data analytics tools
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as supply chain management, business or economics
- Proven experience in food and beverage or retail industry
- Open to work onsite in Makati
