Area Sales Manager

We are looking for an Area Sales Manager that will be responsible for driving sales growth, market penetration, and brand visibility across the Iloilo territory. This role involves managing a team of sales representatives, overseeing distributor operations, and building strong relationships with key accounts (supermarkets, wholesalers, and retail outlets).

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement localized sales plans to achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual volume and value targets.
  • Monitor distributor performance, ensuring optimal inventory levels, efficient logistics, and adherence to credit terms.
  • Identify and activate new sales channels and outlets to increase numeric and weighted distribution.
  • Lead, train, and mentor a team of Sales Executives or Booking Persons to ensure high productivity and professional growth.
  • Maintain strong relationships with major local accounts and modern trade partners in the region.
  • Execute promotional activities, merchandising standards, and point-of-sale (POS) activations to enhance brand visibility.
  • Provide regular feedback on competitor activities, pricing trends, and consumer insights within the Iloilo province.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
  • Strong familiarity with the geography and business culture of Iloilo and surrounding municipalities.
  • Proficient in sales data analysis, CRM software, and Microsoft Office (specifically Excel).
  • Fluent in English and Tagalog; proficiency in Hiligaynon is highly preferred to effectively communicate with local partners.
