Outbound Sales Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, manage, and motivate a team of outbound sales agents to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Ensure all team members consistently meet or exceed individual sales goals by providing continuous support, coaching, and performance monitoring.
  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly team performance, ensuring alignment with sales goals.
  • Provide hands-on coaching, mentoring, and training to improve call quality and sales effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement outbound sales strategies to drive performance and productivity.
  • Conduct regular performance reviews, one-on-ones, and team meetings to provide feedback and recognition.
  • Analyze call metrics, sales conversion rates, and team KPIs to identify areas of improvement.
  • Collaborate with other departments (e.g., marketing, product, customer service) to align on campaign strategies and customer feedback.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and support agents in resolving challenging sales objections.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products/services, market trends, and competitors.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Team Leader or Senior Sales Representative in an outbound sales environment.
  • Must have experience with Solar Energy Campaign.
  • Strong understanding of sales techniques, objection handling, and closing strategies.
  • Excellent leadership, coaching, and motivational skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems, call monitoring tools, and sales reporting software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of outbound Sales Team Leader experience, preferably in a BPO or contact center environment.
  • 1+ year of experience in a team leadership role.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred but not required).
  • Experience handling B2B or B2C outbound campaigns.
