About the role

The National Government Affairs and Compliance Officer is responsible for supporting the implementation of regulatory compliance and permitting requirements, as well as ensuring the effective execution of Administrative and documentary functions in line with established protocols and corporate housekeeping standards.

What you'll be doing
  1. Shall perform administrative and documentary functions related to government relations and regulatory compliance. This includes organizing and managing documentation, assists in the packaging and timely submission of mandatory and regulatory report requirements/permits, and ensuring that all administrative processes are carried out efficiently and effectively.
  2. Shall handle corporate housekeeping database and maintain comprehensive accurate compliance records. Handle and maintain accurate, up-to-date compliance records and both physical and electronic files are easily available.
  3. Shall assist facilitate and coordinate interactions with government officials, agencies, and other stakeholders.
  4. Perform other duties as may be required by the Position Manager or the Manager-Once Removed in good faith or in the interest of the project, business, or as the COMPANY and its affiliates may require.
What we're looking for
  1. A degree in Business Management/Administration or any Social Science-related course.
  2. Experience in a law firm as a legal researcher or paralegal is an advantage.
  3. With at least 2-4 years’ experience in office management.
  4. Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint applications.
  5. Excellent organization and analytical skills.
  6. Possesses a positive outlook and demonstrates persistence in achieving goals.
  7. Demonstrates strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
  8. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  9. Demonstrates knowledge of and commitment to sustainable working practices.
