Accounting & Finance Manager

Position Summary

The Accounting & Finance Manager ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial information, supports strategic decision-making, and drives financial sustainability and operational efficiency throughout the organization.

1. Financial Management and Reporting
2. 1. Oversee the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for all companies under CK Group of Companies.
3. 2. Ensure timely, accurate, and complete financial reporting in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
4. 3. Analyze financial performance and provide recommendations to Management regarding profitability, cost control, and business growth.
5. 4. Develop and present financial reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators (KPIs) for executive review.
6. 5. Monitor cash flow, liquidity, and financial health across all subsidiaries.
7. Group Accounting Operations
8. 1. Manage all accounting functions including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Payroll Accounting, Fixed Assets, and Financial Close Processes.
9. 2. Establish standardized accounting procedures and controls across all companies within the Group.
10. 3. Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedules to ensure accuracy and completeness.
11. 4. Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing activities for all entities.
12. 5. Oversee the implementation and continuous improvement of accounting systems and processes.
13. Budgeting, Forecasting, and Financial Planning
14. 1. Lead the annual budgeting process for CK Group and all subsidiary companies.
15. 2. Develop financial forecasts and business projections to support strategic planning.
16. 3. Monitor budget utilization and analyze variances against approved budgets.
17. 4. Provide financial modeling and feasibility studies for new projects, expansions, investments, and business ventures.
18. 5. Support executive management in evaluating financial risks and opportunities.
19. Treasury and Cash Management
20. 1. Manage company cash flow planning and working capital requirements.
21. 2. Monitor bank balances, cash positions, and funding requirements across all entities.
22. 3. Establish controls over disbursements, collections, and treasury operations.
23. 4. Coordinate banking relationships and financial transactions.
24. Taxation, Compliance, and Internal Controls
25. 1. Ensure compliance with all tax, statutory, and regulatory requirements.
26. 2. Oversee the preparation and submission of tax returns, government reports, and regulatory filings.
27. 3. Coordinate external audits, tax audits, and regulatory examinations.
28. 4. Develop, implement, and maintain strong internal controls and financial governance practices.
29. 5. Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting standards, and legal requirements.
30. Leadership and Team Management
31. 1. Lead, supervise, and develop Accounting and Finance personnel across the Group.
32. 2. Establish departmental goals, performance standards, and development plans.
33. 3. Promote accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence within the Finance Team.
34. 4. Collaborate with department heads and company leaders to support business objectives.
35. Strategic Business Support
36. 1. Serve as a financial advisor to the Executive Management Team.
37. 2. Provide financial insights and recommendations for organizational growth and expansion initiatives.
38. 3. Support mergers, acquisitions, new company formations, and other strategic projects as required.
39. 4. Participate in executive meetings and contribute to organizational planning and decision-making.
40. Other Duties
41. 1. Perform other accounting, finance, and business-related responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is highly preferred.

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive accounting and finance experience in a corporate environment.
• At least three (3) years of managerial or leadership experience.
• Proven experience handling financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, treasury management, and compliance.
• Experience managing multiple companies, business units, or consolidated financial reporting is highly preferred.
• Experience in retail, e-commerce, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or multi-entity business operations is an advantage.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial management, taxation, and corporate finance.
• Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Strong analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
