JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have a Bachelor's/College Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
- Preferably a Certified Public Accountant Preferably with Supervisory specialized in Finance - General/Cost Accounting or equivalent.
- With 3 years experience as Accounting Supervisor
- Well-verse in Payroll management and tax filing.
- With excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft applications.
- Good computer skills (excel, databases and financial software)
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist in the management of the Accounting Department and ensure the effective execution of daily accounting operations.
- Prepare and review financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations in accordance with applicable standards.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies, tax regulations, and internal control procedures.
- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns and coordinate with regulatory authorities as required.
- Manage audit engagements, including coordination with external auditors and preparation of required schedules and reports.
- Supervise and develop accounting personnel to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional growth.
- Perform other accounting and finance-related duties as may be assigned by management.
