Architect - Hospital Account (Project Based - 6 Months)

The Architect assigned to the hospital is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing construction or renovation of healthcare facilities. This role ensures that all architectural designs comply with hospital standards, medical workflows, safety guidelines, and regulatory requirements.
The Architect works closely with hospital administration, medical professionals, engineers, and contractors to create functional, safe, and efficient spaces that support patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Planning & Design
- Develop architectural concepts, layouts, and detailed designs for hospital buildings, departments, and medical facilities.
- Ensure designs support clinical workflows, infection control, patient safety, and staff efficiency.
- Prepare feasibility studies, space programming, and master planning documents.
- Compliance & Standards
- Ensure all designs comply with healthcare regulations, building codes, and safety standards.
- Incorporate hospital-specific requirements such as sterile zones, emergency exits, isolation areas, and accessibility features.
- Project Management
- Oversee construction activities to ensure alignment with approved plans and timelines.
- Review and approve architectural drawings, material specifications, and shop drawings.
- Conduct regular site inspections and coordinate resolution of design issues.
- Stakeholder Coordination
- Collaborate closely with hospital administrators, medical practitioners, engineers, and contractors.
- Conduct meetings to gather requirements, provide updates, and validate designs based on medical and operational needs.
- Quality & Safety Assurance
- Ensure designs promote patient comfort, safety, and privacy.
- Integrate sustainability and energy-efficiency principles in the hospital environment.
- Evaluate and improve existing hospital spaces through renovation and optimization projects.
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture; PRC-licensed Architect.
- Experience in healthcare or hospital projects preferred.
- Strong knowledge of building standards, hospital regulations, and infection control guidelines.
- Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or related design tools.
