Operations Director & Sr Director – People Management Role
Job Description- Provide expert-level knowledge of Financial Services / Retail or Banking.
- Coordinates with key stakeholders including Service leads with the goal of delivering a ‘seamless, integrated, consistent” delivery across relevant accounts thus leading standardization, optimized operating model, governance, return/value on investment, financial management for the account.
- Develop and deliver business that address client needs and improve account outcome.
- Communicates the product/ services development roadmap (short, mid and long term) on a regular basis to both internal and client audiences
- Build strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, and provide tailored solutions to meet their goals.
- Work with clients to implement financial/ banking / retail solutions, ensuring smooth transitions and effective outcomes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including account managers, and technical experts, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Leadership/Supervisory Role:
This is a client-facing role that- Provides direction and guidance for operations, administration and results for a major department or multiple departments within a function or work area.
- Establishes operational objectives for managers and/or teams of professionals across assigned areas.
- Develops and executes strategic and operational business plans for the department
- Responsible for decisions impacting financial operation.
- Manages the staff of large client engagements.
- Demonstrates the highest level of leadership, interpersonal and client relationship skills.
- Acts as a business leader in the development, sales, and delivery of new business with new clients for NTT DATA.
- Viewed internally and externally as an expert in addressing organizational business issues.
- Advises leadership team on changing business conditions and corresponding appropriate internal changes

- Models exceptional influencing and communication skills, client service skills and leadership capabilities.
- Expert knowledge, understanding and application of project management principles and methodologies. Models expert analytical / problem solving skills, organizational and time management skills
- Advanced budgeting, business financial and P&L skills.
- Advanced ability to develop comprehensive and complex operational and strategic plans.
- Work with internal stakeholders across technology, WFM, SMEs, operations, automation, and others and design a holistic solution organizations.
Collaboration:
- Plays a highly collaborative role, building solid cross-functional relationships with departmental heads and management across the business spectrum.
- Partners with other operations, clients, L&D and HR function to determine program priorities, roll-out plans, set program deadlines, ROI and analytics.
- Collaborates with departmental heads and managers, to identify areas that require training and to develop program requirements unique to each department. Ability to work closely with key stakeholders in addressing gaps in the overall Solution designs.
Reporting & Analytics:
- Plays an analytical role conducting current and ongoing strategic assessments of business-wide training and development programs and initiatives.
- Ensure effective data governance, reporting and measures program delivery quality, which ensures continuous improvement, maintenance, and adjustment in delivery to meet client account deliverable .
Experience
Typical Years of Experience:
Director :12 - 15+ and
Sr, Director: 20+ years relevant experience in operations, delivery, client relationship management, etc.- 8 + years managerial/ leadership experience
- Minimum Education and Certifications:
- Graduate degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- In-depth knowledge of, including regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Strong analytical skills Financial Service, Banking or Retail with the ability to delivery and meet client deliverable .
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with Financial Service, Banking or Retail is highly valued
- Proficiency in data analysis tools, such as Excel, PPT, or data visualization software, is desirable
- Hands on experience in Automation
