Job Description
Posted on 30 June 2025- Assists in overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent guest service, and maintaining the smooth functioning of the front desk
- Assists in supervising front office staff, ensuring that they adhere to procedures and standards.
- Respond to guest inquiries, handle complaints, and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Prepare reports, maintain accurate records of room inventory and occupancy, and update relevant systems.
- Communicate effectively with other departments, such as housekeeping and maintenance, to ensure a seamless guest experience.
- Solve problems and make decisions within the scope of the position, reporting issues or concerns as needed.
- Establish and maintain positive relationships with repeat guests, VIPs, and corporate clients.
- Assist with hiring, training, and scheduling front office staff, providing coaching and performance feedback.
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a front office or guest services role; prior supervisory experience preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to handle guest inquiries and issues.
- Knowledge of hotel operations, accounting procedures, and front office record-keeping.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations and to handle guest complaints effectively.
- Willing to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Bi-lingual is a requisite. Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, Fookien, English language, spoken and written.
