Position Title: Business Development & Marketing Manager
Department: Business Development / Marketing
Reports To: General Manager

Coverage: Suki Market – All Branches

Position Summary

The Business Development & Marketing Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and market visibility for Suki Market across all branches. The role leads initiatives in leasing, tenant acquisition, partnerships, sponsorships, and marketing programs to increase occupancy, foot traffic, and tenant sales.

The position focuses on expanding the market’s commercial opportunities, strengthening partnerships, and implementing marketing strategies that enhance the brand and competitiveness of Suki Market.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Leasing & Tenant Acquisition
  • Develop and implement strategies to attract and secure new tenants for market stalls
and commercial spaces.
  • Maintain high occupancy rates across all branches.
  • Identify target tenants and business categories that strengthen the market mix.
  • Negotiate leasing terms and coordinate contract documentation with management.
  • Build and maintain relationships with prospective and existing tenants.
  1. Partnerships & Sponsorships
  • Identify and establish strategic partnerships with brands, institutions, and community
organizations.
  • Secure sponsorships and collaborations for market events and promotional activities.
  • Develop programs that increase market visibility and community engagement.
  • Manage relationships with sponsors and partners.
  1. Marketing & Promotions
  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to increase customer traffic.
  • Manage digital marketing initiatives, including social media promotions and online
engagement.
  • Plan and execute market events, promotions, and tenant-driven marketing activities.
  • Ensure consistent branding and communication across all branches.
  1. Market Growth & Business Development
  • Identify new opportunities to increase revenue and customer engagement.
  • Conduct market research to understand customer trends and tenant needs.
  • Develop programs that support tenant sales growth and market competitiveness.
  1. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
  • Track and analyze marketing performance, tenant occupancy, and customer traffic.
  • Prepare reports and recommendations for management on growth opportunities.
  • Monitor the effectiveness of marketing initiatives and partnership programs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Stall occupancy rate
  • Number of new tenants acquired
  • Revenue generated from leasing and partnerships
  • Customer foot traffic growth
  • Marketing campaign performance
  • Sponsorship and partnership value secured
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 5–7 years experience in business development, leasing, marketing, or retail
operations
  • Experience in leasing, tenant relations, or commercial property management is an
advantage
  • Strong background in marketing campaigns and partnerships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Strategic and results-oriented mindset
