Supervise the daily operation of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP).

Ensure treated wastewater complies with DENR-EMB discharge standards and permit conditions.
Monitor wastewater parameters (pH, BOD, COD, TSS, oil & grease, flow rate, etc.).
Conduct regular sampling, testing, and analysis of influent and effluent.
Maintain accurate operational logs, monitoring records, and compliance reports.
Prepare and submit required wastewater-related reports to regulatory agencies.
Oversee proper chemical dosing, sludge handling, and disposal activities.
Inspect, operate, and maintain WWTP equipment such as pumps, blowers, aerators, clarifiers, and filters.
Coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance of wastewater facilities.
Identify operational issues, process deviations, or system failures and implement corrective actions.
Lead investigations of wastewater non-compliance incidents and recommend preventive measures.
Ensure safe handling, storage, and use of treatment chemicals.
Train and supervise wastewater operators and contractors.
Coordinate with government inspectors, third-party service providers, and auditors.
Support ISO 14001, FSSC, and other management system audits related to wastewater operations.
Promote continuous improvement in wastewater treatment efficiency and environmental performance.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
