PROJECT ENGINEER

• Maximize project efficiency and profitability
• Determine project specifications and acquire the necessary materials for completion
• Develop scope and parameters for project design and implementation
• Identify project responsibilities, delegating phases and elements to the appropriate personnel
• Develop and control the full project-plan lifecycle

• Assist Franchise Manager in establishing project objectives, procedures, data collection methods, and performance standards within parameters of corporate policy
• Preparing, scheduling, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned engineering projects.
• Create and administer testing protocols for monitoring project performance
• Inform supervisors and subcontractors promptly of any project activity schedule changes, and work closely with all clients to ensure requirements are met
• Oversee budgetary, scheduling, and project databases, and report regularly to Franchise Manager on progress as well as on problems that could significantly affect cost or schedule
• Interacting with clients, interpreting their needs and requirements, and representing them in the field.
• Performing quality control tasks on budgets, schedules, plans, and personnel performance and reporting on the project's status.
• Reviewing the engineering tasks and initiating the necessary corrective actions.
• Developing specifications for the project's needed equipment.
• Creating frameworks to measure the project's metrics and data collection.
• Establishing field test methods and methods for monitoring the quality of those tests.
• Ensuring the project's compliance with the applicable codes, practices, policies, performance standards, and specifications.

• Three or more years of experience in project management, project engineering, or project planning (scope, schedule, cost, quality)
• Experience in field management
• Strong working knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and circuit design
• Understanding of compliance and quality assurance guidelines and best practices

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• A valid engineering license.
• 3 or more years' field and project planning experience.
• Excellent computer literacy and knowledge of design and visualization software.
• The ability to work with multiple discipline projects.
• Excellent project management and supervision skills.
• Excellent organizational, time management, leadership, and decision-making skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, policies, standards, and best practices in civil engineering and other related fields.
