Schedule: Night Shift
Job Responsibilities:
Hiring an experienced Interior Construction Estimator to support our growing commercial interior construction pipeline. This role is critical to helping us price projects accurately, reduce back‑and‑forth with our internal team, and support faster, more confident decision‑making.
This is not a junior or training role. We are looking for an estimator who can work independently, identify gaps in drawings, ask the right questions early, liaise confidently with suppliers when required, and help reduce cognitive load for our leadership and project teams.
You will work closely with ownership and senior team members, and your output must be accurate, organized, and execution‑focused.
Qualification and requirements:
- Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior construction projects (commercial, industrial, education, healthcare)
- Perform quantity takeoffs and material tracking from drawings and specifications
- Identify scope gaps, assumptions, and risks early—and clearly flag them
- Verify vendor and subcontractor pricing aligns with defined scope
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for pricing, clarifications, and alternates
- Organize estimate files so leadership and PMs can quickly understand decisions
- Support tender submissions and pricing reviews
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client and project information
- Adapt quickly to NTERIO’s estimating templates, tools, and workflows
Non-negotiable skills & requirements:
- 5+ years of construction estimating experience
- 5+ years of construction industry experience
- Strong understanding of:
- Interior construction assemblies
- Sequencing and constructability
- Material costing and labor considerations
- Proficiency with estimating and takeoff tools (PlanSwift, Bluebeam, Procore, or similar)
- Strong working knowledge of Excel
- Excellent English communication skills (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension)
- Confident communicating with suppliers and, when required, clients
- Highly organized, dependable, and comfortable working independently
- Fast learner who executes without needing constant direction
