Job Description

The General Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating daily construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within quality standards, and in compliance with safety regulations. The role oversees manpower, materials, equipment, and site operations while serving as the primary link between workers, subcontractors, and management.

• Supervise and coordinate daily work activities of skilled workers, laborers, and subcontractors
• Ensure construction works are executed according to plans, specifications, schedules, and safety standards
• Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and enforce proper work methods
• Monitor material usage, tools, and equipment to prevent wastage and loss
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, project managers, and suppliers
• Ensure compliance with company policies, DOLE safety standards, and site regulations
• Conduct daily toolbox meetings and safety briefings
• Inspect work progress and quality; report issues and delays to management
• Maintain daily accomplishment reports, manpower records, and site logs
• Implement corrective actions to address work deficiencies and safety concerns

• At least High School Graduate; TESDA certification or technical training is an advantage
• Minimum of 3–5 years experience as a Foreman or in a similar supervisory role in construction
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety practices
• Ability to read and interpret basic construction plans and instructions
• Proven leadership and people-management skills
• With good communication and problem-solving skills
