About the role
We are seeking a talented and experienced Quantity Surveyor - Civil and Architectural to join our team at CHINA CONSTRUCTION FRONT GEN. DEVT. CORP.' in San Juan City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in supporting our construction projects and ensuring their financial success.
What you'll be doing- Preparing detailed cost estimates and bills of quantities for projects
- Analysing contracts, tender documents and technical drawings to identify cost implications
- Negotiating and managing subcontractor and supplier costs
- Monitoring project budgets and providing regular cost reports
- Identifying potential savings and cost optimisation opportunities
- Assisting with the preparation of project tenders and proposals
- Collaborating with project managers, designers and other stakeholders
- Degree or equivalent qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management or a related field
- Minimum 2 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor and Contract in the construction industry
- Excellent knowledge of construction materials, processes and cost estimation techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Proficient in using quantity surveying software and MS Office applications
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
