Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee daily revenue cycle operations, ensuring accuracy and timely completion of all assigned tasks
- Lead, coach, and support revenue cycle team members, including assigning work, monitoring performance, and following up on deliverables
- Ensure proper interpretation and balancing of Explanation of Benefits (EOBs) to resolve discrepancies and denials
- Analyze payer behaviors and reimbursement patterns to identify trends, opportunities, and inefficiencies
- Utilize Excel (including formulas and Pivot Tables) to create reports, track performance metrics, and support decision-making
- Ensure effective time management and workflow distribution across the team
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve revenue cycle issues and improve processes
- Maintain proficiency in and support the use of practice management systems
- 5+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle operations
- 2+ years of management or leadership experience
- Strong understanding of EOBs and revenue balancing fundamentals
- Solid proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and Pivot Tables
- Proven ability to manage time effectively and delegate assignments with follow-through
- Amenability to work onsite
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Basic understanding of payer behaviors and the ability to use data to trend performance and identify opportunities
- Experience with practice management systems such as MS4, Invision, EPIC, STAR, or eFR
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
