Key Responsibilities
- Risk Management: Perform hazard identification, risk assessments, and implement preventive measures.
- Inspections: Conduct daily or weekly safety inspections of equipment, machinery, and facilities.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, injuries, or near-misses, and prepare detailed incident reports with corrective actions.
- Training & Education: Organize safety training sessions, orientations, and emergency evacuation drills.
- Safety Culture: Promote safe work practices and advise management on safety improvements
- Knowledge: Deep understanding of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) standards and regulations (e.g., OSHA, DOLE in the Philippines).
- Education: A degree in safety management, engineering, or a related field, often with specific certifications.
- Important Requirements: Complete safety certificates and WITH EXPERIENCE
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reporting and training.
- Proactivity: Strong analytical skills to identify potential hazards before they cause injury.
