Responsible for providing comprehensive safety support to daily transportation and logistics operations, ensuring full compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Oversees and enforces safety standards across the workplace, garage, and other operational sites to maintain a safe and hazard-free environment.Processes and manages safety, security, and environmental permits in accordance with applicable laws and internal procedures. Leads the reporting and investigation of incidents, preparing detailed findings and recommending corrective and preventive measures.
Regularly updates and monitors the Journey Management Plan (JMP) to ensure safe and efficient trip execution. Conducts inspections of trucks and related safety appurtenances to verify operational readiness and compliance with safety standards.
Provides support in addressing operational concerns within assigned capacity, while continuously observing and analyzing overall operational efficiency. Ensures that plans are fully executed, preventive maintenance activities are completed on schedule, and all required reports are submitted accurately and on time.
Qualifications/Requirements- Bachelor’s degree, preferably an Engineering, Logistics, Transportation Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- With at least 2–3 years of relevant experience in transport safety, fleet safety management, or HSSE, preferably in fuel, petroleum, or hazardous materials operations.
- Preferably Safety Officer (SO2/SO3) or equivalent safety certification is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of transportation safety regulations, hazardous materials handling, and government compliance requirements.
- Experience in conducting safety inspections, audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
- Skilled in preparing safety reports, analyzing incident data, and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
- Willing to conduct fieldwork, site inspections, and flexible work schedules as required by operations
- Knows how to drive a manual and automatic vehicle and with valid driver's license.
