The Assistant Vice President will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and stakeholders to achieve strategic objectives and drive the successful delivery of construction initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage multiple construction projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards
- Develop and implement strategic plans for construction projects, including resource allocation and risk management.
- Lead and mentor project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure effective project execution and professional development.
- Coordinate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to align project goals and expectations.
- Monitor project budgets, control costs, and ensure financial objectives are met.
- Ensure all projects comply with relevant regulations, standards, and safety protocols.
- Provide regular updates and reports on project status, performance, and issues to senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
- Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
- Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
- In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Effective communication and negotiation skills.
- Relevant professional certifications (e.g., PMP, LEED) are advantageous.
