About the Role
The IT Specialist will provide general IT support across the organization and assist the IT Manager in ensuring that systems, tools, devices, and technology services run smoothly. This role is ideal for someone who is hands-on, adaptable, and eager to build broad IT experience across support, infrastructure, troubleshooting, systems administration, and basic development or automation.
The successful candidate must be comfortable working onsite daily in Makati and supporting users, systems, and technology needs in a fast-paced office environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide day-to-day technical support to employees for hardware, software, network, system, and application-related concerns.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers, peripherals, internet connectivity, email, productivity tools, and other IT equipment.
- Assist in setting up, configuring, maintaining, and monitoring workstations, user accounts, access rights, and business applications.
- Support basic network, server, cloud, and infrastructure-related activities under the guidance of the IT Manager.
- Assist in maintaining IT assets, inventory records, software licenses, documentation, and standard operating procedures.
- Help implement IT policies, security protocols, backup procedures, and data protection practices.
- Support system updates, patches, installations, migrations, and basic technical projects.
- Assist in basic development, scripting, automation, reporting, or process improvement initiatives when needed.
- Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders for IT-related requirements.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the IT Manager or external support partners when necessary.
- Perform other IT-related tasks and projects as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or any related field.
- Open to fresh graduates and candidates with up to 5 years of relevant IT experience.
- Experience or exposure in any of the following is an advantage:
- IT support or helpdesk
- Hardware and software troubleshooting
- Network and infrastructure support
- Systems administration
- Cloud tools and productivity platforms
- Basic programming, scripting, or application support
- Cybersecurity, backup, and access management
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to support users with varying levels of technical knowledge.
- Highly organized, reliable, proactive, and willing to learn.
- Able to work independently while collaborating closely with the IT Manager and internal teams.
- Must be willing to work onsite daily in Makati.
